About the Author

Mr. Rothe, who lives in Honolulu, was a professional pilot for over 30 years. After bush-flying in the far North, seaplane flying with the Cousteau's, flying air-tankers on forest fires and flying the world as an international airline pilot, he then sailed the high seas on his sloop "Quetzal" for many years. Grounded by a catastrophic heart attack several years ago, he has since devoted all of his passion, time and effort not just to "get by" as most of us would do, but to rise to the challenge and fully regain his health. Seven years later he has succeeded in doing just that, is allowed to fly again, and brings us "100 Steps to Better Health"
