Synopsis

Students will find coverage of the latest topics-such as mood-dependent memory, the power of suggestion in the creation of false memories, accident rates, jury instruction, speed reading, learning vocabulary-and much more in this updated Fifth Edition. Reed's COGNITION is well respected both for its breadth of coverage and for the careful way it walks readers step-by-step through some of the more difficult experimental material. The study guide is packaged at no additional charge with every copy of the text and consists of three or four complete exercises for students to perform outside of class, chapter outlines, and self-assessment exercises. The self-assessment exercises include approximately 10 true/false, 20 multiple choice, and 2 essay questions per chapter.
