Synopsis
The only mathematics required to enable a studnet to study the theory of the linear statistical model is calculus and matrix or linear algebra. A number of topics in matrix algebra that are useful in a study of the theory of the linear statistical model are generally no available in a first or second course in matrix or linear algebra. The prerequisite for reading this book is one undergraduate course in matrix or linear algebra. The book should prove useful for anyone who takes courses in in regression and correlation, analysis of variance, least squares, linear statistical models, multivariate analysis, or econometrics; and it could serve as a resource book for many other subjects.
