About the Author
Richard A. Dunlap is a research professor in the Department of Physics and Atmospheric Science at Dalhousie University. He received a B.S. in Physics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (1974), an A.M. in Physics from Dartmouth College (1976) and a Ph.D. in Physics from Clark University (1981). "I really like the author's approach and the coverage provided by this prospective text. It is much like the text we use but is more compact, while hardly compromising the coverage. And, of course, it is up-to-date. I would likely adopt it and/or recommend adoption to whomever was teaching our two-quarter upper division nuclear course. I think the resulting text would be the leading candidate for adoption."
