"I love this book and so do my students. I have been using it for 12years"
"An excellent textbook for students with very little or no experience in nutrition. The authors have done a great job of presenting the facts in a concepts and controversy format. The format helps the reader learn nutrition facts, but also appreciate and understand controversies in the field of nutrition."
"The text is presented in such a manner to invite critical thinking and evaluation of current scientific knowledge."
"Your logical, objective discussion of the pros and cons of supplementation versus a diet rich in antioxidants clarifies many misunderstandings. Great information, excellent presentation!" "The extensive end notes throughout the book provide excellent peer reviewed sources for students to use for term paper presentations."
"The tables provide interesting and useful information and the 'FAQs' are a good way of highlighting material that is of particular interest to students."
