About the Author

Ian Neath is currently an associate professor in the Department of Psychological Sciences at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. He received his Ph.D. in cognitive psychology from Yale University in 1991. At Purdue, he regularly teaches both the undergraduate and graduate courses on human memory, as well as courses on introductory psychology, cognitive psychology, and simulation modeling. He has published many articles on memory in professional journals and co-authored the textbook HUMAN MEMORY: AN INTRODUCTION TO RESEARCH, DATA, AND THEORY, 2nd, also published by Wadsworth.
