About the Author

Michael Le Roy is a Professor of Political Science at Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington. In 1998 he received the Faculty Achievement Award for excellence in teaching at Wheaton College. He earned his Ph.D in Political Science at Vanderbilt University. Between 1992 and 1994, Michael was a Fulbright scholar at Gothenburg University in Sweden. His research on civil society, xenophobia, and the European Union has been published in the journal, Comparative Politics, and he is the co-author of Research Methods in Political Science 5th edition.
