About the Author
Robert Gerver and Richard Sgroi received doctorates in the Mathematics Education Ph.D. program at New York University. In addition, they have taught mathematics and math education at Long Island University, Adelphi University, Dowling College, State University of New York, and an institute for gifted and talented students on Long Island. They have spoken at numerous national and regional conferences and have published articles in mathematics journals.
