About the Author

Susie H. VanHuss is a Professor and Program Director of Management at the University of South Carolina. Her teaching specialities include business communication, administrative systems, and personnel management. A prolific author and Gold Book award winner, Dr. VanHuss teaches writing as critical career skill approach--an approach that allows students to learn a systematic process of planning and writing effective messages while at the same time producing high-quality results very early in the learning philosophy.
