About the Authors

Daggett is a well-known and respected national leader in vocational education. He has spoken in all 50 states and several foreign countries and has written extensively in his area of expertise. He serves as a consultant to several major corporations on the future of work in America. He currently serves as Director of Occupational Education Instruction for the New York State Education Department.

Miles has taught the material covered in this text for several years. Recognized as an innovative and creative educator, he has provided many workshops for teachers on suggested strategies for presenting these materials. Miles is also an active member and leader of numerous professional education organizations. He currently is Chairperson of Business Education at Pittsford High School in Pittsford, New York.
