As an upper elementary grade teacher, she successfully taught students how to become better readers and writers using proven strategies. Currently an educational consultant, Dawn has presented workshops in literacy at the local, state, and national level. Dawn holds a Masters Degree in Education with an emphasis on curriculum and instruction. She resides in Maryland with her husband and children.
