About the Author
One of Dana Jensen’s favorite up and down things in life is watching a baseball soar up into the sky above a cheering crowd. He lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Tricia Tusa has illustrated many children’s books, including the New York Times best-selling The Sandwich Swap. She loves hills that roll up and down. She lives with her family in northern New Mexico.

Each spread in this gentle and original collection offers a poem composed in one- and two-syllable lines. Some of the verses read top to bottom, while others read from the bottom up; the cartoon-style image accompanying each poem offers the clues needed for the reader to know whether to start at the bottom or the top.
