Synopsis

Four favourite stories from the life of Jesus, from two of the most famous author/illustrators in children's literature today First published as individual story books, in both paperbacks and miniature hardbacks, these stories about Jesus's life are wonderfully retold and beautifully illustrated by Butterworth and Inkpen. Seen from the perspective of the animals who viewed the events first hand, the stories contain a wonderful sense of humour and mystery, coming alive for young children. THE FOX'S TALE is the story of Jesus's birth; THE CAT'S TALE is the story of Jesus changing water into wine at a wedding; THE MOUSE'S TALE is the story of Jesus calming a storm; and THE MAGPIE'S TALE is the story of Jesus and Zaccheus, the tax-collector.
