When Michael Ann O'Donnell decided to leave her life of crime and use her talents to open her own security firm, the last person she ever expected to see again was her old partner in crime, Remy Ballou. The last time she'd seen the sexy Cajun, they'd just broken into the hotel suite of a Saudi sheik, intent on relieving him of his fortune in diamonds. But she and Remy had lingered to make love in the sheik's four poster bed, and Mike had been caught. Remy had gotten away, and Mike would never forgive him for dumping her. Once in the clear, he never bothered to contact her again. Until today, when he showed up as a security consultant for the insurance company that just hired Mike to protect a large shipment of diamonds. Not only is Remy back in her life, but his job is to defeat her foolproof security system and steal the diamonds. If he succeeds, the business she worked so hard to build will be ruined. Remy doesn't tell Mike, but he engineered this job just to find a way back into her life. Three years ago, he hadn't been ready for the commitment he knew she wanted.
