Review

Meg Cooper, Alissa Page and Zoe Hartmann have nothing in common-- except their unhappiness with their lives. Meg is a high powered criminal attorney whose wealthy, and sometimes guilty, clients have made her famous. She has no time for anything else but work, least of all a romantic relationship. Alissa is the socialite whose marriage to a prominent doctor is falling apart. She spends her time planning parties and galas and watching her beautiful, young daughters live the life she once had. Zoe was one of the most famous actresses in the world until a tragedy forced her out of the limelight. Now, faced with financial burdens after her husband's suicide, she's trying to make a comeback. Meg, Alissa and Zoe meet at the Golden Key Spa, retreat for the discerning woman. They leave the spa with a common goal, to find their first loves and see how their lives would have been different. For Meg, that means finding Senator Steve Riley, her college professor and lover. Alissa's first love was Jay Stockwell, a young rebel who wanted to change the world and now does broadcasts from all over the globe. Zoe wants to find Eric Matthews, the boy-next-door who made her feel special and loved. From Atlanta, New York and L.A., these three women search for what they lost. Of the three, only one will rekindle the passion of first love. The other two will find love with someone new. In the end, their lives will be changed forever by their discoveries--and by their unique friendship forged from pain, heartache and determination.First Loves is a testimony to the power of friendship! Jean Stone understands the human heart. The realistic stories of three memorable women interwoven into one unforgettable book!
