Synopsis
Stevie, Carole and Lisa are thrilled when they get the chance to attend the American Horse Show in New York City with Mrs. Reg and their teacher Max. Not only is it the most important horse show in the country, but Max's ex-student Dorothy DeSoto is going to compete, and the girls are invited backstage. They have fun exploring Greenwich Village, where Lisa gets a sophisticated new haircut, and also go riding in Central Park. Lisa finds herself coming to the rescue of an inexperienced rider - who turns out to be their all-time favourite teen heart-throb, Skye Ransom! About the Author
Bonnie Bryant is the author of over a hundred books about horses, including The Saddle Club series, Saddle Club Super Editions, and the Pony Tails series. She has also written novels and movie novelizations under her married name, B. B. Hiller. Bonnie began writing The Saddle Club in 1986. Although she had done some riding before that, she intensified her studies then and found herself learning right along with her characters Stevie, Carole and Lisa. She claims that they are all much better riders than she is. Bonnie was born and raised in New York City, where she continues to live today.
