Based on a true story which begins the day before Pearl Harbor, 1941. During WWII, while 16 million men between the ages of 18 and 44 either volunteered, or were drafted, in the military to free the world from German and Japanese tyranny, some men stayed home, in America. Our hero was one of them. He was needed by the War Department for his keen engineering skills. But he didn't work round the clock. When he was not working, he was needed at New York City's famous Roseland Ballroom to meet available women. For this young man, World War II was fabulous. He quintupled his salary over his Depression wages, and now it was time to spend it on girls, girls, girls. Thank you, Admiral Yamamoto, for bombing Pearl Harbor.
