Reviews
This book, written by two British journalists and supplemented by a brief statement of personal faith by prominent Muslim M.A. Modood, is an excellent introduction for the general reader. The book employs well-chosen quotations from the Qu'ran , and discusses the origins of Islam as well as its contemporary expression. Given its length, the book is surprisingly comprehensive. Highly recommended for public libraries.
