Synopsis
The Poems of T. S. Eliot is the authoritative edition of one of our greatest poets, scrupulously edited by Christopher Ricks and Jim McCue. It provides, for the first time, a fully scrutinized text of Eliot's poems, carefully restoring accidental omissions and removing textual errors that have crept in over the full century in which Eliot has been so frequently printed and reprinted. About the Author
Christopher Ricks is co-director of the Editorial Institute and Warren Professor of Humanities at Boston University. He is author of numerous works of literary criticism, including Beckett's Dying Words (1993) and is responsible for the forthcoming new edition of The Complete Poetry of T. S. Eliot (2011). He was knighted for his services to scholarship in 2009.
