About the Author:

Kelly Garcia lived in Yomitan, in Okinawa, Japan from 2005-2009. During her time in Okinawa she taught English as a Foreign Language, worked as a picture framer, ate her way around the island as food editor of the website Okinawa Hai. Kelly recently relocated to Hampton Roads, Virginia. She has two children, Gabe and Lily. This is her first book.
