Year after year-serving as a hospice nurse and then as an end of life doula- I witnessed the suffering that happens when a person fails to acknowledge the fact that as a human, death and dying will occur. I saw fear of death prevent any planning, therefore causing the final days to become an unprepared for fiasco of unintended events, which not only impacted the dying person, but all the loved ones as well. The purpose of Dying Made Easy(er) is to teach the reader to look at death in a new, less fearful way-- which will enable that person to create an intentional, meaningful dying experience for everyone involved.
