Synopsis
The Enigma Variations is the debut novel by Alex Ranieri. It follows Leslie Jone's recounts of a life in art, and one romance that forever altered the course of her sense of self. An encounter with the work of another artist in their mutual youth leads to a long-term relationship. With the discovery of a younger, more volatile muse, the reconciliation of the original relationship comes into conflict with the promise of the new.
