Synopsis
There are more than 1,500 species of spiders in Australia; this small book illustrates about ten percent of them (usually there are four separate color illustrations per page), with brief paragraphs about each species. There is an introductory section about morphology and biology of spiders, and a glossary. The pictures are very good and would be useful for naturalists planning to out of doors in Australia.
