About the Author

Judy Meagher has 36 years of teaching experience, 20 of them in kindergarten and primary classrooms. In addition to co-authoring Creating Arts, a practical guide for nurturing children's creative thinking, her work has appeared in Instructor magazine and Early Childhood Today. Judy lives in Bozeman, Montana.

Joan Novelli, a former teacher, is a contributing editor of Instructor magazine and editor of numerous books for teachers, including the award-winning A Year of Hands-on Science published by Scholastic Teaching Resources. She is also the author of Scholastic's Using Caldecotts Across the Curriculum. Joan lives in South Burlington, Vermont.
