A library envelope is pasted inside of front cover, but no library descriptions or notations found. Tear at head of spine stabilized with tape. Pages not numbered. Story & illustrations from a TV special shown in 1970. On the first day of school, all the kids are given an assignment to write a 500-page essay on what they did for their summer vacations. As Linus struggles with the assignment, he reflects back on the gangs' experience at summer camp (which Lucy had graciously signed them all up for and forced them to attend). None of the "queen snakes" Linus was so afraid of turned up to swallow him whole, but it wasn't all fun and games for him and the other guys, as the girls beat the guys at one game after another - swimming, baseball, canoeing, etc. In desperation, the boys put their "masked marvel" (Snoopy) up against Lucy in an arm wrestling competition that pushed both competitors to their limits and resulted in a controversial decision. Copyright 1970. ISBN-10 as given above. This copy is from the 12th Scholastic printing in 1979. No LCCN nor MSR. Seller Inventory # 006642
