They may be forced to sell the old family house to a shady real estate agent, but there are rumors of a treasure hidden by Jamie's great-grandfather. Jamie finds a quilt that is a diagram of the house with a clue to the treasure, but the quilt is sto len. Jamie and her friend Kevin find the treasure, save the homestead, and put the real estate agent out of the business of selling stolen antiques. While the mystery is rather predictable, young readers will find the treasure hunt to be exciting, and Jamie and her family and friends seem real.
