About the Author
David Schwartz is the author of How Much is a Million?, and its sequel, If You Made a Million. David travels across the United States using his books to lead workshops on integrating math into other areas of the curriculum and promoting math literacy.
David J. Whitin is a professor of Elementary Education at the University of South Carolina. David is a former elementary school teacher and principal and has written extensively about the math-literature connection. Two of his books include Read Any Good Math Lately? and It's the Story that Counts, both published by Heinemann.
