About the Author

WILLIAM DUBIE, a faculty member of the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, also co-hosts The Computer Report on WCAP 980 AM in Lowell, Massachusetts. He also co-writes the column, The Shareware Report. He lives in Hollis, New Hampshire, with his wife Jo-Ann and at least two cats.
