Richard started collecting information when Iraq invaded Kuwait in August of 1990. At first, his goal was only to understand what really happened. Conflicting information abounded. Attempting to understand and ascertain the reality of the events, Richard compiled information in so much detail, he amassed volumes of periodicals, books, government reports, and information from the Internet. He collected information from over 100 bibliographical sources.
Over the years, Richard continued to cull through additional information and sources, causing a myriad of updates and rewrites. After the murders of 9-11, he decided it was time to share his research with the world. The product is The Gulf War Chronicles.

Why are we having a difficult time in Operation Iraqi Freedom? It is difficult to understand our current situation without understanding the past. How is it that our first victory was so swift? Most believe that we bombed the living daylights out of the enemy and then our ground forces rolled in to do nothing more than collect surrendering Iraqis. In fact, the Iraqis were, and are, a determined foe. Even after weeks of relentless bombing, many Iraqis stood their ground and resisted.
The Gulf War Chronicles is an account of the beginning of America’s struggle against evil in the Middle East. How can we achieve victory without understanding what really happened in our first encounter with Iraq?
