However, that very distance made the West arrogant as it has, more recently, been eroding the very principle of balance among human values and institutions. About the Author

Dr S. W. Haski was born in Poland. He graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics and obtained his doctorate from Warsaw University. He gained post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Sydney. He resides in Australia but intermittently lectures in economics at several Polish universities. He has published four books and many articles in economics, sociology and related fields.
