Synopsis
Ripples On the Surface is a collection of poems written from 1969 to 2006 (not compiled in the order they were written) expressing the personal feelings, dreams, and perceptions of the author. She is publishing her poetry for piggeries, to help empower women in Jinga, Uganda, become self-sustaining and support the HIV/AIDS infected people of their village. Global Partners for Development, , sponsors the Piggery Program and is the winner of the 2006 Albert Schweitzer Award of Excellence. All royalties from the sale of this book go directly to Global Partners and the Piggery Program. Thank you for joining us in this effort.

About the Author
Franki deMerle has been published numerous times by the National Library of Poetry. She also plays classical guitar, writes and arranges music, and is working on a novel. Ripples On the Surface is a collection of poetry being published for the Piggery Project.
