About the Author
Noel Pagany has not had formal training in the writing of poetry but has been a latent poet for most of his life. His passion for the art only became deliberate over the last 6 years in which he took an eight month sabbatical in 2002 from software consulting to become a dedicated student of the art and during which he wrote and rewrote a majority of the poems in this collection ? some of the poets that have influenced his poetry growth are old masters like Tagore, Auden, Ginsburg, and a number of contemporary poets like August Kleinzahler (to name just a few). Noel lives in the city of Chicago and has called it home since the age of four when his parents emigrated from Punjab, India.This work encapsulates not only a varied range of poetry styles; but also, a journey of self-awareness that explores topics from identity and love to death and justice. The reader should open this book without the expectation of perfection but rather the flower of fallibility and its assorted fruit.
