Review:
"Dr. Jadresic's book, which is both meticulous and heartfelt, contributes greatly toward sharing information on and furthering an understanding of a disorder that is medically benign but psychologically tormenting, and orients the physician and the layman on the treatment possibilities offered by medicine today." - Alejandro Goic, MD, president of the Chilean Medical Academy
"The objectivity and delicacy of his style reflect profound wisdom. He introduces and speaks to us of people whom he receives and assists beyond their situation as patients. They are individuals who share their emotions and pieces of their lives and that have found a calm, comforting perspective in Dr. Jadresic's integrity and professional eminence." - Juan Enrique Mezzich, MD, president of the World Psychiatric Association
"While reading When Blushing Hurts, I once again admired Dr. Jadresic's expository talent, his elegant, poetic pen, his thoughtful honesty, and his clinical ability." - Renato Alarcón, MD, Mayo Medical School
"Those who suffer from blushing will find direction here, a way out that meets the most stringent scientific parameters; this book will be of invaluable help to them. It will also be so for others: we emerge from the reading broader, more understanding and generous, more aware. Enrique Jadresic has written a book that is also a poem. He has once again given meaning to the word delicacy." - Raúl Zurita, poet, Chilean National Literature Award
