MOTHERS AND DAUGHTERS: A POETRY CELEBRATION was simply a joy to create. The selections in this book are a result of years of collecting poems that touched me emotionally because they so accurately reflect my feelings as a mother, daughter, and granddaughter. This book has turned out to be a delightful collection of extraordinary poetry that celebrates the experience of being a mother and daughter during every phase of life--from birth through old age. MOTHERS AND DAUGHTERS honestly displays the mother-daughter relationship through poetry. From pregnancy to toddlerhood, adolescence to leaving home, grandmotherhood and beyond, and every passage in between, this connection captures the voices of mothers and daughters as they write about their captivating times together.
