About the Author
Tim Vasquez has over a decade of experience analyzing and chasing storms on the Great Plains. During the 1980s he worked as a forecaster for a Dallas newspaper, and during the 1990s he was a meteorologist for the U.S. Air Force and a television weathercaster. He lives in Norman, Oklahoma and runs a weather programming company and a storm chase forecast service. Tim is an ardent supporter of hand analysis, the technique of gaining a thorough three-dimensional picture of the atmosphere to get the upper hand on computer model forecasts.
