About the Author

Susan Hartsfield's career began as a registered nurse and progressed to a mid level provider as a Nurse Practitioner. After years of patient education, promoting health through personal responsibility, Susan pushed the boundaries outward to include environmental responsibility. To respectfully care for ourselves and our planet results in two things: better health and more money. A science based education coupled with common sense and a thrifty up-bringing provided the perfect platform to share and encourage energy efficiency. Susan is an active member of the Sierra Club, (America's oldest environmental organization founded in 1892). She leads free tours to recycling centers, is an avid kayaker, bicyclist and lover of nature. She is now adding entrepreneurship to her experiences with her startup company Global Baskets LLC. Susan purchases handmade baskets from village women in Ghana West Africa. She then packs them with energy products and her book to offer a unique and easy way to go-green.
