Sometimes I sat at my computer and cried as I wrote this book. Other times I laughed out loud. I spent so much time with these characters that they became real to me. Then when my dad was diagnosed with cancer, I knew that the only RIGHT thing to do with this story was to make it an offering of blessing and hope.
