“What a coincidence!” we say, and then we just forget about it. But young Stormy Day can’t ignore the amazing barrage of coincidences which catapult him onto the path of discovering why his mother vanished when he was born ... and why the truth about his family has been so deeply buried. Years ago, visionary psychologist Carl Jung wrote that coincidences are not random, but instead, they are actually “meaningful arrangements” created in the un-trackable swirl of the universe. Jung named these arrangements “synchronicity,” and he cautioned us to stop ignoring ... to stop brushing off ... coincidences. Stormy knows nothing of this “synchronicity” business. But he does pay attention to where the coincidences lead him. So join him on his sometimes hilarious, sometimes suspenseful, and occasionally heart-wrenching journey. It pulls him like a powerful magnet toward finding the other “wing” in his life. And as it unveils itself, it is certainly another broken wing ... flap, flap.

About the Author:
James Sumner Kendrick is a writer and humorist, and has been a magazine publisher for more than 25 years. Hundreds of his short stories, articles and essays have been published during the course of his career. Another Broken Wing is his first major novel, set in his own hometown -- Brockton, Massachusetts. Material for this book has been gathered along the eclectic pathway of Kendrick’s life as a publishing CEO; correspondent for AP, The Boston Globe, Maine Sunday Telegram, and World Times; commercial fisherman; traveling salesman; corporate consultant; musician; taxi driver; and laborer. As to this newest story, Kendrick emphasizes in the front of the book that “any resemblance to actual events or persons – living or dead – is entirely coincidental ... and frankly, utterly ridiculous.”
