Eleven designs selected from the Kelbourne Woolens archive highlight the best of the best from designers Kate Gagnon Osborn and Courtney Kelley. They are gathered together in this compilation and re-edited, rehashed and improved upon for your knitting enjoyment. Included are favorites Springtime Bandit (now written and charted), the Hiker's Waistcoat, and Selbu Modern, among many more. This collection is an opportunity to properly acknowledge not just the popular designs that put Kelbourne Woolens on the map, but the fans who have been there since the beginning and have given the patterns a life of their own. With a shared modern vintage aesthetic, Kate Gagnon Osborn and Courtney Kelley have created timeless, wearable designs based on solid knitting techniques. Their first five years of designing for The Fibre Company have been a period of growth and constant innovation beginning with a point-and-shoot camera and a group of eager (and not so eager) friends as models, and evolving into a cohesive line of books and successful patterns for various craft publications.

About the Author
Kate Gagnon Osborn and Courtney Kelley are the co-owners of Kelbourne Woolens. Together they design knitting patterns, write books and create lovely yarns for hand knitting. Their designs have been published in numerous books as well as in Martha Stewart Living, Vogue Knitting, Interweave Knits, Knitscene and more. Both reside in Philadelphia, PA and between them they have 4 dogs, 3 cats, 6 chickens and two children.

Kate and Courtney are such a prolific and talented design team with admirable attention to detail. This volume showcases their most popular designs all beautifully presented by way of the photography, backdrop and styling.
