After creating one of the most celebrated liturgical dance ministries now enjoying international acclaim, Sabrina McKenzie aka the Dancing Preacher, a forerunner in the art and ministry of spiritual dance is ready to take her unique brand of ministry to the next level, by establishing a church focused on the arts. She is also the proud mother of three beautiful children, Anandi, Khidhar and Imani Mckenzie and the momager of her daughter that models Anandi!
On March 10, 2011 McKenzie was ordained and installed as a pastor and will oversee The Epic World Center, a non-denominational and non-traditional church she established, which will be located in Decatur, Georgia, a community once nationally recognized as a thriving epicenter of African American affluence. Her goal is to help the community rebound by incorporating her diverse background and unique approach to addressing the various needs of the people in the community-beginning with creative expression.
Her International Dance Commission (IDC) organization has grown from 40 members to over 2,000 members worldwide. She completed the Chaplains program at Emory Hospital in Decatur, and has completed the Master Of Divinity program with a concentration in Pastoral Care at International Theological Center in Atlanta, this May 2011. McKenzie says tragic life experiences such as losing siblings to AIDs and domestic violence, allowed her to heal through the art of dance. However, it also led her to her new role as a pastor of the Epic World Center, where sermons will be expressed through drama,dance and song, as well as ministering the word of God.

About the Author:
Sabrina McKenzie is a trained dancer with 18 years of experience, that includes dancing for various artists in the music industry. Mrs. McKenzie trained at St. Benedict School of Dance in New York City and has danced with Springfield Academy, Wings of Faith dance team and Born Again Dance Ministry. This Morris Brown College graduate is currently the Director of the ?New Birth Liturgical Dance Ministry? under the leadership of Bishop Eddie L. Long, Senior Pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. She over sees 150 dancers and several dance ministries which include Praise & Worship, Born Again, (Men) Lamb Of God Worshippers and the Children's dance ministry. As a professional dancer, Sabrina is the over seer and choreographer for the Gospel Heritage Foundation dance ministry segment.. Her dance and choreograph repertoire include choreography for the Gospel Heritage Conference, Dottie Peoples Live video, Gospel Dream which aired on BET, NBA all star weekend and the Evander Holyfield heavyweight championship. Additionally, Sabrina was featured as a solo rap artist on Bishop Eddie L Long's CD release titled ?Those Who Are Not Prepared Will Not Survive.? As a community activist, Sabrina is very involved with innovative program development for inner city youth. Sabrina McKenzie believes that the Greatest Leader is the best Servant.
