About the Author

Roger grew up in the heart of the big city of Chicago. Even though he and his family have lived in New Mexico since 1971, being around horses had never been a part of his life. After learning about the abused and neglected horse population in New Mexico, Roger became a volunteer at Walkin N Circles Ranch (WNCR) in 2012, "jumping in with both boots". An aspiring writer, he was encouraged to write a children's book about a real horse rescue by the ranch hands as a fund raiser for WNCR. "Holly's Amazing Rescue" is the result. It has captured the hearts of all who have read it.
