Introduction I don’t really mind spending a few hours in social networking through virtual sites. I am always open to new ideas in writing, especially if poetry is concerned. When I got involved with a virtual group, called Indies In Action (IIA), I thought of authoring a book which would reflect my philosophy and endeavours. I had the opportunity to interview the contributors of the global anthology, Twist of Fate (ToF) and had them uploaded in my blog. But not everyone could be informed about the job I accomplished, and moreover a couple of the interviews turned out to be a readers’ delight, even from an academic point of view! The first chapter A serious ToF is to project certain thoughts which would definitely motivate the readers and the writers as well. Spiritual lyrics and poetry are not well regarded in the world of literature. This is indeed a pity to say the least. Years of research and observations compelled me to think that they lack the tag of being ‘serious,’ and are often considered as ‘casual’ contributions. The second chapter Yogic poetry; the Indian heritage is aimed to showcase my spiritual compositions which are ‘serious’ indeed and could be well positioned in the field of English poetry! Being the spiritual kingdom of the world India boasts the lineage of the Yogis, and Sages, thus the term ‘the Indian heritage.’ There is a general complaint that the translated poems do not carry the original flavour, especially for poetry. This is partially true and there are exceptions as well! I want the global readers to comment on my works, if they find it appealing. The last chapter is intended to project The translator I. Heartfelt wishes to all my readers, critics and reviewers. Thank you. Kiriti Sengupta

Editor’s Note I first met Dr. Kiriti Sengupta only recently, when we both worked on the Indies In Action (IIA) charitable anthology Twist of Fate (ToF). Kiriti was a contributor, and I was an editor. At one point he asked if I would be willing to do an interview with him about the book. He was doing a series of interviews with people who had worked on the book to be used for publicity purposes when the book was released. I was frankly a little surprised by this. Authors get interviewed about their books all the time. Editors? Never. I jumped at the chance! It turned out to be fun to do, and I got to know Kiriti a little better.
