Synopsis

About the Author

Dave Dragon is a U.S. Army Veteran, who makes his home in Palm Harbor, Florida. At the time of this publication, he is the Information Technologies Director for a Pharmaceutical Formulation and Manufacturing corporation, which specializes in Cancer-specific formulations for Oncology patients in Clinical Trials.

An Electrical Engineer in his early civilian career, Dave made the transition into Systems Programming, Engineering and Information Infrastructure Management, with certifications as an Oracle Database Professional, Project Management Professional and others.

Dave holds advanced Black Belts in Taekwondo, Hapkido and Judo, and working on Krav Maga. He has played guitar and drums professionally, plays six-string banjo and is learning violin/fiddle for the challenge and enjoyment.

As a member of the Iron Butt Association, Dave participates in long-distance competitive riding challenges, and successfully completed the IBA 50CC Challenge by riding from the beach at Jacksonville, FL to the beach at San Diego, CA, in thirty-nine hours three minutes, earning additional awards for One Thousand miles in under twenty-four hours and Fifteen Hundred miles in under twenty-four hours, riding his customized BMW R1200GS Adventure.
