Synopsis

Taylor covers long-run economic fundamentals first, followed by a thorough study of business cycles, allowing students to fully understand the fundamental determinants of economic growth before examining short-term economic fluctuations. Both AD/AS and ADIA coverage are included in this edition. Taylor offers a refinement of the classic AD/AS diagram to take price adjustment and inflation into account—a more realistic approach for students who have already explored topics in long-run growth.
