About the Author

Robert Perrin (Ph.D., University of Illinois–Champaign/Urbana) directs the writing programs at Indiana State University. He has won several awards at his university, including the all-university Teaching Award and the Distinguished Professor Award. He teaches students of all levels, from freshmen to graduate. He has published numerous articles on all aspects of composition, has served as the editor of Indiana English, and is a consultant for the Indiana Department of Education.
