About the Author:
Allan Ornstein is a professor of education at St. John's University in New York. He received his Ph.D. from New York University and is author of more than 15 texts and 2000 articles and research papers. Prior to teaching at St. John's, he was a professor of Education at Loyola University in Chicago.
