Psychology strikes an ideal balance between classic and current research that addresses cultural and human diversity, as well as updated coverage of behavioural genetics and evolutionary psychology. The most current Canadian research and statistics have been fully integrated, providing information and examples that are relevant to students and instructors. For this new Canadian Edition, the authors have sought to explore the full range of psychology, free from theoretical bias; blend conceptual discussion and description of research studies; foster scientific attitudes and help students learn to think critically; present lessons in a clear, accessible, and readable style; and demonstrate that psychology is an integrated discipline in which each sub-field is linked to other sub-fields by common interests and overarching research questions.
