About the Author

Ed Sawicki has authored over 20 books about Linux, NetWare, and networking and Internet-related technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS & DHCP, and security. His previous work for Course Technology includes Advanced Guide to Linux Networking and Security and Lab Manual for Linux+ Guide to Linux Certification. He has over 2 million air miles from lecturing world-wide at various seminars and conferences on a wide range of cutting-edge topics. He also teaches part time at colleges in Portland, Oregon on subjects such as Data Communications, Wide Area Networking, and Unix/Linux.
