She has worked in a variety of businesses designing, writing, and supporting application software; managing a PC repair help desk; and troubleshooting wide area networks. She has written numerous books on software, hardware, and the Internet, including the bestselling A+ GUIDE TO MANAGING AND MAINTAINING YOUR PC, 8th Edition, and A+ GUIDE TO HARDWARE: MANAGING, MAINTAINING AND TROUBLESHOOTING, Sixth Edition. She lives in north Georgia.
Todd Verge has a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Dalhousie University, a Masters Degree in Philosophy from Carleton University, and a Diploma in Adult Education from the Nova Scotia Community College. He has worked as a technologist and teacher for over 20 years and is the author of several Course Technology titles on information technology and mathematics. In 2006 Todd received the NSCC's Excellence in Teaching Award.
