Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Photographic (illustrator). First Edition. 435 g.; of II, 3-112 pages, introduction by author and index of recipes. Very pale yellow coloured endpapers. The text is illustrated with numerous black-and-white photographs and occasional black-and-white illustration throughout the text. Red coloured cloth covered boards with black titles to the backstrip. Minor rubbing to the book corners and backstrip edges. Handling marks to the endpapers and the occasional thumbprint throughout the text. Colour photographic dustwrapper with black titles to the front panel and white titles to the backstrip. Rubbing to the dustwrapper edges and dustwrapper panels. There is a small, 0.25 ", tear to the top edge of the front dustwrapper panel. Some yellowing of the rear dustwrapper panel. Browning to the verso of the dustwrapper in this book the author presents a month's worth of menus, including recipes, which if followed, will give the dieter 1000 calories per day. It does include a comprehensive list of the calorie content of proprietary food -- PLEASE NOTE is an American publication and consequently the calorie counting information is pertinent for that country only, and even for American clients the information is way out of date.
